Night Auditor

The shift for this full-time opportunity is 11 pm – 7 am. Hourly wage is based on experience. Job Details Description As a Night Auditor at Nemacolin, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and balance of front office accounting records and preparing summaries of financial data on a daily basis. Position Summary Night Auditors must possess the skills and talents of a Front Desk Agent, and must be able to run the nightly audit reports. Essential Functions Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts. Process guest charge vouchers and credit vouchers. Post guest charge purchase transactions not posted by the front office cashier. Verify all account postings and balances. Review all front desk cashier reports, and make any needed adjustments. Generate reports tracking room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics. Summarize results of operations for management. Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts. Possess knowledge of how to operate front office equipment, including computer, fax machine, copier, and have an understanding of point‑of‑sale devices. Understand and know how to perform check‑in and check‑out procedures. Act as a Butler on an as‑needed basis to deliver room‑service orders. Handle any guest concerns throughout the night. File guest checks to the appropriate file. Maintain a clean and neat appearance in work dress and area. Other job duties as assigned. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high‑school diploma at minimum, as well as prior experience working a guest/customer‑facing position in hospitality or comparable. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Friendly and outgoing personality. Excellent communication skills. Ability to stand up to 8 hours at a time. Build effective relationships to ensure quality working relationships with all departments. General knowledge of the surrounding areas and attractions. Work in a fast‑paced environment. Speak English fluently. Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred. High‑school diploma or equivalent is required.
