Occupational Therapist (OT)Ally Behavior is a full-time, center-based, early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy program, serving children with autism ranging from 18 months to 6 years of age. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality therapy to help our early learners reach their potential to communicate, improve social skills, and prepare for academic success. The children we serve are at the heart of everything we do and we are passionate about our commitment to having a meaningful impact in the lives of our children and their families.To facilitate collaboration of care and superior treatment outcomes for our young learners, we currently have an opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT). Our center-based program delivers intensive early intervention for young children with autism. Each child receives 1-on-1 ABA therapy delivered by a technician and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the day. Most of our learners require Occupational Therapy in addition to ABA and Speech Therapy. Our comprehensive onboarding and training approach will support and prepare you to provide the best possible therapy to our clients!Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Carry a client caseload, size dependent on hours workedComplete parent training with each client on their caseload once per quarterComplete a parent training following an evaluation or reevaluation within one month.Meet the billable hour expectations, prorated from our full-time expectation based on hours workedCollaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to coordinate the therapy of shared clientsAttend team meetings as scheduledMaintain strict client confidentiality following HIPAA protocolMaintain open communication with families and clinical teams to ensure the most effective treatment and goalsDue to the nature of working with young children, all clinical staff are required to change diapers, assist with toileting, and be able to physically work on the floor with childrenExperiential & Certification Requirements:Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy requiredCurrent and active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state(s) of hireCurrent certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationExperience with early intervention and working with children with autismReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseMust submit to a federal, state, and county background checkPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to reach and hold objectsAbility to lift 30 poundsWhat You Will Bring:Enthusiasm to make a difference working with young children and their familiesAbility to maintain a caseload with a weekly billable hour requirementExceptional ability in building trusting relationships and maintaining confidentialityCommitment to learn and pursue professional developmentStrong knowledge of OT principlesStrong leadership qualitiesDemonstration of professionalism and adherence to Ally policy to team membersEffective communication skillsMulti-tasking & time managementCreative solutions to problems with the ability to quickly adaptPatience and calm demeanor in stressful situationsStrong performance in team settings & collaboration with othersWhat We Offer When Joining Our Team:1099 contractors are paid on a per billable hour basisSemi monthly payrollFlexible hoursNote: This position is NOT eligible for Visa sponsorship.Ally Behavior is an equal opportunity employer.
