CNC Machinist I

Job Description

We’re looking for a CNC Machinist I to join our team. Responsibilities include loading materials, operating CNC machines, inspecting parts with precision tools, and performing routine maintenance. Must be able to read technical drawings and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork required. Having your own tools and toolboxes is a plus but not required.

Skills needed for a CNC Machinist I role:

Basic understanding of CNC machine operation (mills/lathes)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints
Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes or machines

Optional “plus” skills list (not required, but nice to have):

Experience with G-code and CNC programming edits
Prior experience in a machining/manufacturing environment
Ability to set up CNC machines in addition to operating them
Owning personal tools and toolboxes
