About the Company We are representing a prestigious and well-regarded regional law firm seeking a skilled Employment Litigation Attorney to join their dedicated team. The minimum billable hours target for this position is approximately 1700 hours annually. About the Role The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands‑on experience in employment litigation and will be comfortable managing cases independently. This position involves a wide array of litigation matters including, but not limited to, FEHA and Title VII defenses, wage and hour disputes, class action claims, PAGA actions, trade secret protection, and unfair competition issues. Responsibilities include representing clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies. Responsibilities Independently manage employment litigation cases from inception through resolution. Defend against claims under FEHA, Title VII, and related common law principles. Handle class action lawsuits and PAGA claims with proficiency. Represent employers in various legal forums including court, arbitration, and administrative agencies. Take and defend depositions, and articulate arguments in court motions. Draft comprehensive motions, pleadings, and discovery responses. Seek out and pursue business development opportunities. Conduct training sessions and seminars for clients to enhance their understanding of employment law. Supervise and mentor junior associates to cultivate their professional growth. Qualifications Active membership in the California State Bar is required. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. A minimum of 8 years of litigation experience is required. Demonstrated expertise in managing complex employment law issues. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong abilities in case management. Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and clients. A portable book of business is not mandatory but candidates with an ability to generate business are encouraged. Pay Range and Compensation Package This role offers an attractive base salary range of approximately $175,000-$225,000 along with additional incentive opportunities.
