Registered Nurse - NICU

NICU Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking a highly skilled RN for a 13-week contract in the NICU at a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care in a Level 4 NICU environment, demonstrating strong teamwork and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in a Level 4 NICU setting.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, adjusting treatments as necessary.
• Administer IV medications, ventilator support, and other specialized procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately using Meditech and CPN EMR systems.
• Respond to on-call needs and assist during emergencies or complex procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current up-to-date credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years NICU experience, preferably in a Level 4 NICU.
• Strong understanding of neonatal care protocols and equipment, including ventilators and infusion pumps.
• Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude adaptable to change.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift including weekends.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
