MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC

Summary You will serve as a MARINE MACHINERY MECHANIC in the PORT OPERATIONS DIVISION of NAVBASE KITSAP SILVERDALE WA. Responsibilities You will operate machine shop equipment (e.g., drill presses, shapers, bench grinders, power hacksaws) to complete marine machinery repairs. You will detect and correct malfunctions in marine machinery using measuring devices and test equipment. You will work in partnership with key management personnel to provide status and resolve work problems. You will determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to assist with marine machinery repairs.
