Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts every weekend
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract with a Sunday end date
• Every other holiday rotation, as applicable
• Float to alike units internally and may occasionally take med/surg patients if no ICU patients are available and med/surg census is high
• May float to other locations such as Merrill, Medford, Stanley, and Wausau
• Unit runs similarly to most step-down units with occasional ventilator patients
• 2 ICU beds with 2 flex bed potential with 1 ICU RN per shift
• Scrubs provided but personal scrubs in any color are also acceptable
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN license, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius

This healthcare facility is a community-based hospital offering a range of inpatient and outpatient services, including an intensive care unit that operates similarly to a step-down unit with the capability to manage ventilator patients. The facility maintains a smaller, close-knit ICU environment with flex bed capacity and is part of a larger health system with multiple regional locations. The organization is committed to high standards of patient care and maintains specific certification and education requirements for its nursing staff.
