Position Summary

The Support Coordinator / Junior IT Technician serves as a critical member of our Support Team. Initially, this role focuses on answering client calls, creating and prioritizing support tickets, coordinating work across technical teams, scheduling service requests, and ensuring clients receive timely communication.

Over time, the successful candidate will receive training and mentorship to perform Level 1 technical support tasks, troubleshoot common IT issues, and begin resolving support requests independently.

This position is ideal for someone with strong communication and organizational skills who is looking to start or advance a career in IT.

Responsibilities

Support Coordination

· Answer incoming client calls and emails

· Create and document support tickets accurately

· Determine ticket priority and business impact

· Coordinate ticket assignments

· Schedule onsite and remote support appointments

· Follow up with clients regarding open requests

· Ensure tickets are properly updated and documented

· Maintain excellent customer service throughout the support process

Technical Support Growth Path

· Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows, Microsoft 365, and MAC OS

· Assist users with hardware, software, and login issues

· Set up user accounts

· Escalate complex issues to senior technicians when needed

· Assist with onsite support visits as requested

· Progress toward independently handling Level 1 support requests

Qualifications

Required

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong customer service mindset

· Ability to multitask and stay organized

· Strong attention to detail

· Professional and positive attitude

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Creative approach to problem solving

· Desire to learn and grow within the IT field

Preferred

· Previous customer service, call center, administrative, or dispatcher experience

· Exposure to Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office

· Experience working in a technical or IT-related environment

· Entry-level technology certifications such as CompTIA ITF+ or A+ (not required)
