As we expand and enhance our supply chain operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inbound Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in establishing and managing new standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inbound logistics to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Position Overview
The Inbound Logistics Specialist will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of inbound logistics, including the development of new processes and the management of various moving pieces. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement SOPs:
• Establish and document standard operating procedures for inbound logistics.
• Ensure all SOPs are aligned with the company's transition to offshore vendors.
Coordinate Inbound Shipments:
• Manage and track all inbound shipments from both domestic and offshore vendors.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Vendor Management:
• Liaise with both domestic and offshore vendors to coordinate shipments.
• Address any issues or delays in the supply chain.
Process Optimization:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within inbound logistics.
• Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Inventory Management:
• Oversee the receipt and inspection of inbound goods.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with the procurement, warehouse, and quality assurance teams.
• Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments.
Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure all inbound logistics activities comply with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably with a focus on inbound logistics.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with offshore vendor management.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes.
