Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The schedule is designed for optimal work-life balance, with sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11:00am, and welcoming candidates interested in both in-person and VOCO (virtual/remote) modalities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Michigan licensure or the ability to obtain prior to start
• Specialized experience working in school settings with pediatric populations
• Proficiency with AAC device implementation and individualized communication strategies
• Strong collaborative, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based speech-language therapy to a student using an AAC device
• Conduct assessments, design interventions, and track student progress toward speech and language goals
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to facilitate a supportive learning environment
• Maintain thorough records, session notes, and prepare reports as necessary
• Customize and adapt therapy plans based on the student’s evolving needs and success with AAC technology
