Read on for more details about this particular role.Responsibilities:Assemble, modify, and rework moderately complex combustible, electro-chemical and infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring, soldering, and connecting.Perform testing and troubleshooting.Adhere to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as related to production and company objectives.Maintain production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.Starting pay $22.90/hr. + $1.00 shift differential Pay Grade HR130 Openings: 1MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is now hiring for Assembler Sensor Manufacturing associate for our manufacturing plant.Qualifications:Strong manual dexterity requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.Understand standard units of measure and to set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.Perform standard software operations including SAP.Regularly perform work that requires magnification.Concentrate for prolonged periods of time.Infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.Infrequently stand in a stationary position.Use power and hand tools, and custom tooling.Work in a team environment and effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.Organize and prioritize work and operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.Education and Experience Required:High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 months manufacturing or other related experience (if lacking minimum months of experience, we will train you through our temporary agency before full time employment).Experience Preferred:Past soldering experience (training provided if no experience established).
