Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment based on work orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist in cycle counts as needed.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent workplace accidents.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs].
- Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
- Warehouse or industrial setting with varying temperatures.
- Exposure to noise and moving equipment.
