Traffic Assistant

Shipping Department Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The position involves assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations within the shipping department.

• Check dock doors
• Assist supervisor, IO scheduler, and inventory controller with tasks
• Enter Good Receipts in SAP
• Check Emails
• Interact with Truck Drivers
• Run Reports
• Prepare staging lanes to ship
• Close out orders
• Check Dock Doors / Door Swaps

Skills Required

• SAP experience strongly preferred
• Very strong computer literacy
• Well organized
• Able to multitask and balance priorities
• Function independently when necessary
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively
• Very strong communication skills

Experience Required

1-2 years of transportation experience strongly preferred. In the absence of transportation experience, candidates with a demonstrated work ethic and necessary experience to ensure computer skills, organizational skills, and communication skills will be considered.

Education Required

High School Graduate and computer literacy
