Make a difference in the lives of students by working as a Paraprofessional in a supportive Day Treatment Program for grades K-8. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with both students and educators, helping foster a positive and structured learning environment for children with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting
• Comfortable supporting K-8th grade students with varying needs
• Ability to follow individualized plans and collaborate with teachers and support staff
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support students throughout the school day in both academic and social development
• Implement strategies and interventions within the Day Treatment Program under supervision of special education staff
• Assist with classroom routines, provide one-on-one or small-group support, and help manage behaviors
• Foster an inclusive environment that values diversity and encourages student growth
• Monitor student progress and document observations to share with multidisciplinary teams
