Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar supportive classroom role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated reliability and a positive, encouraging attitude
• Ability to implement individualized behavior and learning strategies
• Comfortable supporting K-8 students with varying social, emotional, and academic needs
• Preferred: Familiarity with day treatment or therapeutic education settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with classroom tasks, assignments, and social interactions
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to promote engagement and academic success
• Support educators and clinical staff in implementing treatment and learning plans
• Encourage positive behavior, emotional regulation, and healthy peer relationships
• Maintain a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment at all times
• Help facilitate communication between students and team members
