Position Summary: The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations across all business locations with a strong focus on employee service, compliance, onboarding, and accurate HR recordkeeping. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, helping resolve questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, people-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide timely, professional support to employees by responding to HR-related questions and requests. Coordinate onboarding activities, audit new hire documents, complete Form I-9 verification, and maintain compliant employee records. Process employment verifications, EDD requests, separation paperwork, and other HR administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. Maintain HR files, employee records, and HRIS data with a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail. Support HR projects, compliance initiatives, and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of related Human Resources experience. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment documentation requirements. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset. Excellent organization, time management, follow-through, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred. Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 pounds as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Form I-9 compliance and employment verification processes. Paylocity or other HRIS experience. High professional integrity, reliability, and a strong attendance record.
