About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Perform wound care, CIWA assessments, and manage heparin drips
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including wound vacs, kangaroo pumps, and telemetry monitoring systems
• Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a charge nurse, nurses, and patient care technicians
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive, professional attitude

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of current, hospital-based Medical/Surgical experience
• BLS certification required

• Experience managing a patient load of at least 6 patients simultaneously
• Strong time management skills in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
