Principal Product Security Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, and secure product lifecycle management.

• Proficiency in threat modeling, cybersecurity risk assessment, security architecture reviews, and security-by-design practices.

• Experience in embedded systems, connected devices, IoT platforms, robotics, and cyber-physical product security.

• Experience with authentication, authorization, cryptography, secure boot, key management, and OS hardening.

• Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability management, CVSS analysis, security validation, and cloud security.

• Strong communication skills with experience leading cross-functional security initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity strategy and security engineering activities across connected products and platforms.

• Define and validate security requirements, controls, architectures, and remediation plans.

• Conduct threat modeling, attack surface analysis, and product risk assessments.

• Drive security testing including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security reviews.

• Lead vulnerability investigations, remediation planning, patch strategies, and post-release security activities.

• Support audits, regulatory reviews, product releases, and customer-facing security engagements.
