As we continue to expand our technology, data distribution, API, and AI capabilities, we are seeking an organized and proactive Engineering Operations professional to help our technical organization operate efficiently and scale effectively.

Position Summary

The Technical Operations Manager professional will serve as a key operational and communications liaison between the Technology team and MT Newswires employees, editors, and other internal stakeholders. This role will help ensure that technical questions, issues, product enhancements, and system updates are communicated, coordinated, and addressed effectively across the organization.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically curious, and an effective communicator who can help bridge the gap between Engineering and non-technical users. While this individual does not need to be a software engineer, they should be comfortable learning MT Newswires' internal systems, tools, and news delivery infrastructure and helping users navigate technical issues and changes.

This role will focus on three primary areas:

1. Internal Technical Support & Communications

Serve as a first point of contact and communications resource for employees experiencing minor technical or operational issues at MT Newswires headquarters and among remote staff. The role will help document issues, coordinate with the appropriate technical resources when escalation is required, and ensure employees receive clear and timely communication regarding issue status and resolution.

2. New Feature Communication & Rollout

Support the Engineering team in gathering internal feedback and communicating new product features, tools, and technology enhancements throughout the organization.

3. News Feed & Technical Issue Coordination

Support the coordination and communication of technical issues affecting MT Newswires' news feeds and delivery systems, including platforms and tools such as EditPad, FTP, and other internal or external distribution channels.

Overall, this role will help create a more effective connection between Engineering and the broader organization by improving communication, supporting users, and ensuring technical issues and product changes are clearly understood and efficiently managed.

Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–7 years of experience in engineering operations, technical project management, program management, technology operations, or a similar role.
• Experience working closely with software engineering, infrastructure, data, or technology teams.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with project management, collaboration, and documentation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, particularly spreadsheets and reporting tools.

• Experience in a financial technology, financial services, market data, media, SaaS, or API-driven business.
