Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while serving patients in a home health setting in Eufaula, AL.

Minimum Requirements

• Master‘s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program required. Bachelor’s or Doctoral degree acceptable if meeting state licensure requirements.
• Current Alabama Occupational Therapy license required prior to start of assignment.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation required. Mileage will be reimbursed between visits from first patient to last patient.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to evaluate patient functional status, develop OT plan of care, document visits and progress notes per agency policy, and communicate outcomes to supervising staff and physicians.
• Experience providing occupational therapy services in home health or community-based settings preferred.
• Experience with patient evaluation, home safety assessments, ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and caregiver education preferred.

• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 (5x8).
• Weekly Hours Guarantee: 40.
• On-call/Weekend Requirement: none.
• Coverage Area: Eufaula, AL. Candidate should be prepared to travel between patient homes within the coverage area.
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs and closed-toe shoes required.
