Billing Department ManagerEssential Functions: Including but not limited to the following:Ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing departmentAbility to improve process efficiencies and solving problemsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAudits current procedures to monitor and improve efficiency of billingEnsures that the activities of the billing operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with overall department protocol, and follow Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirementsOversee and streamline billing and collections processesMonth-end closing of the billing group informationPlan and implement quality assurance for all processesPrepares and analyzes accounts receivable reports and weekly and monthly financial reports.Required Abilities, Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to function well in a high, fast-paced, and sometimes stressful environmentAbility to form good working relationships with clients, vendors, and company staffExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership skills and attributesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, particularly ExcelSupervisory Responsibilities: Currently supervising a team of 7 company billers and expected to grow in 2027Required Education, Certification, Licenses and Experience: The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 7 years' experience in an Accounting roleValid Driver's LicenseAdditional Preferred Knowledge and Experience: Experience with Vista Viewpoint a plus.
