Principal Financial Analyst - Brain Modulation

Principal Financial Analyst supporting the Brain Modulation business within Medtronic's Neuromodulation Finance team. Responsible for financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision support across product development and market initiatives in deep brain stimulation and thermal ablation technologies.

Responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive financial analyses and presentations for leadership
Develop and monitor annual operating plans, forecasts, and financial projections
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making
Support month-end close activities and investigate financial results
Partner with marketing and therapy leadership to evaluate investment opportunities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 7+ years finance or accounting experience
Advanced degree with 5+ years finance or accounting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to translate financial data into clear business insights
Consultative skills and executive communication ability
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
