Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Mechanical Technician / Automation Equipment Mechanic for a well-established company in San Clemente.
Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Full-time
Pay: Up to $25.00 - $30.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize automated filling and packaging equipment
- Set up machines for production orders and perform equipment changeovers
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Read and follow job orders and production schedules
- Complete production paperwork accurately
- Assist with keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized
- Work closely with a small production and maintenance team
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Previous mechanical experience preferred
- Automotive, diesel, tractor, industrial, or similar mechanical experience is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work with your hands and use basic tools
