Candidates will be responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration. They will also manage patients receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management. An emphasis on infection prevention protocols and patient falls is essential. The role requires skills in accessing ports, managing central and PICC lines, and administering blood products. Nurses will be involved in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and high-flow nasal cannula management. Individuals may assist with chest tube insertion and removal as needed. Candidates should be prepared to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels. Regular interaction with interdisciplinary teams is expected to provide comprehensive patient care. Potential patient diagnoses include various cancer types and treatment-related complications. Candidates must complete required credentialing processes promptly upon signing the contract.
