Client Development Coordinator, Energy

The Client Development Coordinator, Energy will support the firm's business development and marketing initiatives for its Energy practice, helping drive growth across areas including oil and gas, power and utilities, renewable energy, LNG, carbon capture, mining, and digital infrastructure. Based in the Houston office, this role works closely with attorneys and business development professionals to coordinate strategic marketing efforts, client outreach, and practice development activities.

Key responsibilities include preparing pitches, RFPs, brochures, website content, and other marketing materials; coordinating conferences, sponsorships, and client events; managing award and directory submissions; maintaining CRM data and marketing collateral; tracking transactional experience; supporting internal communications; conducting client and industry research; and assisting with reporting, budgeting, and other business development projects. The Coordinator will also collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively.

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field, along with at least three years of professional experience. Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Experience in legal or professional services marketing, familiarity with the energy industry, CRM platforms, and AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot are preferred. Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and willing to work occasional overtime or travel for events as needed.
