Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM Test Missile Kit (TMK) program where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

Ensure that projects are completed on cost and schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans

Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, Integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility

Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education.

Prior project leadership experience.

Desired skills:

Control Account Manager (CAM) experience.

Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).

Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.

Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.

Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.

Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project planning and tracking

Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).

Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.

Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management experience

Excellent presentation abilities

Excellent organizational skills

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
