Work Shift: 8 Hours – Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: Salary Range: 25.50 – 38.50 Union Position: No Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Responsibilities Coordinate care, conduct patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilize appropriate age and population‑specific standards as designated in the assigned clinical setting. Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure. Apply the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice framework, recognizing the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association. Qualifications Certification in wound care preferred at time of hire. Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA) – Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice is occurring; multistate licensure acceptable if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
