About the Role – Public Areas Attendant The Public Areas Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. The role requires excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to handle moderate physical tasks such as walking, lifting, pushing, and carrying. Key Responsibilities Greeting guests throughout the hotel with a warm, friendly welcome. Responding to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional manner. Ensuring furniture and public areas are arranged neatly and maintained in good condition. Monitoring and maintaining inventory of supplies. Reporting maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department. Collaborating with other hotel staff, including maintenance and front desk personnel, to support smooth operations. Communicating effectively with guests and colleagues to provide a positive experience for all. Assisting with housekeeping duties as needed based on business levels. Qualifications True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work AM or PM shifts, holidays, and weekends. Wage Information The hourly rate for this position is $23.50. All candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States.
