Registered Behavior Technician

Position Overview Registered Behavior Technician in Virginia, responsible for implementing individualized plans, collecting data, and working with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Support and implement individualized care plans based on client targets and goals. Implement strategies to reduce unsafe behaviors while promoting communication and social skills. Collect and observe client data to assess skills and inform program goals. Work under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Provide direct care services at the center and, when applicable, indirect care services to clients. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with children. Current Registered Behavior Technician credential in good standing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field. Experience with children who have autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience is a plus. Availability during afternoons until 6 P.M. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay for direct care: $21–$26, depending on experience and certification. Hourly pay for indirect care: $15–$18, depending on experience and certification.
