Description Department: Family Medicine Clinic Supervisor Title: Clinic Manager Location : Afton, WY Employment Status : Full-time Compensation: Minimum $17.15, commensurate with experience and certification. This position includes clerical, administrative and clinical duties on a daily basis. This position will apply knowledge of medical office practice, examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures. This is an "at will" position. Job Duties Apply knowledge of medical office practice, examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures Perform common administrative duties including answering telephone calls, greeting patients, approval, correspondence, arranging ancillary services, sending electronic prescriptions to provider for approval, call patients with test results, as well as any other follow up calls/duties Lead patients to exam rooms and collect information for the provider, including, chief complaints, vital signs, medicine reconciliation, etc. Maintain records and record test results Assist with administering/maintaining a variety of treatments, procedures, and medications under the supervision of the medical provider, including injections Assist with keeping the patient flow smooth and provider on time with patient appointments Use and understand general medical terminology Ensure clinic is well stocked with supplies, ordering as needed Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment Attend classes, training and meetings as scheduled and required Other assignments and duties as needs arise Requirements Promote a cooperative and congenial environment working around patients, guests and colleagues Proficient oral and written communication skills Strong multi-tasking skills with the ease of changing direction upon request or need Sound analytical and problem solving skills Maintain skills through provided training as well as self-study Knowledge of modern clinical and office equipment Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively, and demonstrate sensitivity to clients, visitors and staff Strong organizational and prioritization aptitude Comply with HIPAA and other federal, state and local regulations, as well, as maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in client and staff matters Constant standing, walking, pushing , pulling, bending and reaching throughout the day, Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds or more on occasion Abilities & Skills: Promote a cooperative and congenial environment working around patients, guests and colleagues Proficient oral and written communication skills Strong multi-tasking skills with the ease of changing direction upon request or need Sound analytical and problem solving skills Maintain skills through provided training as well as self-study Knowledge of modern clinical and office equipment Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, communicate effectively, and demonstrate sensitivity to clients, visitors and staff Strong organizational and prioritization aptitude Comply with HIPAA and other federal, state and local regulations, as well, as maintain the highest degree of confidentiality in client and staff matters Constant standing, walking, pushing , pulling, bending and reaching throughout the day, Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds or more on occasion Experience & Education: High School Graduate or GED equivalent Prior medical training and experience Computer proficient; MS Office, Internet CPR Certification Experience with an electric medical record (EMR) Note: Position descriptions are intended to serve as a guideline for typical duties and requirements of a position, but are not inclusive.
