Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while helping maintain their comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Help residents safely transfer, reposition, and ambulate.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident care.
• Ensure residents' rooms are clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
• Support residents with compassion, respect, and professionalism.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Previous long-term care or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.
