Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic team at Mission Hospital. The ideal candidate will have recent invasive PCI experience and be familiar with PICC procedures, contributing to our leading cardiac program and patient care excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterization procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist cardiologists during structural heart procedures, ensuring consistency and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot specialized equipment such as X-ray, PACS, Mac Lab, and AVOX systems.
- Document procedure details accurately within the Cerner electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to unit policies, including dress code and safety standards, and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.
- Support patient preparation and post-procedure care to ensure comfort and safety during and after procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a RCIS or ARRT, with at least 2 years of recent experience in a cardiac cath lab.
- Recent year of invasive PCI experience required.
- Proven experience with PICC line placement and cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including structural heart interventions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes clinical environment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
