Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and relationship challenges, followed by developing personalized treatment plans that include attainable goals.

• Implement systemic interventions based on family systems theory to effectively address issues related to communication, interpersonal dynamics, and external stressors affecting families.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during emergencies, ensuring clients and their families feel safe and secure.

• Maintain meticulous client records, document progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to all ethical and legal standards to preserve client confidentiality.

• Educate clients on relationship enhancement, effective communication tactics, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional resilience skills.

• Engage in collaborative care by communicating regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate client care and share relevant insights.

• Stay informed about the latest industry research and best practices in marriage and family therapy through continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve adults as well as children and adolescents who are facing challenges in family dynamics, relationship issues, and mental health concerns. Your approach will recognize the unique context of each client’s experience, creating a safe and supportive space for therapeutic exploration.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in New Jersey.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in marriage and family therapy, with a strong focus on outpatient services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Advance Healing Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, long-term incentive stock awards, and a commitment to maintaining a healthy work/life balance. Flexible scheduling options allow you to enjoy 30 hours or more per week, accommodating your personal and professional commitments.
