West Bend, WI Order: 4295330598 Order Type : Skilled Manufacturing Assignment to Hire Laser Operator - 2nd Shift Position: Laser Operator Job Location: West Bend, WI Starting Date: Immediate Employment Term: Assignment to Hire Employment Type: Full-Time Work Hours (Shift): Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM Starting Pay: $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience Summary Reporting to the Laser Supervisor, this role is primarily responsible for operating lasers and de-nesting parts cut by the laser, as well as metal finishing, identifying, and organizing laser-cut parts in a just-in-time fabrication shop. This position may also be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as needed. Responsibilities Perform setups and operations on Bystronic and Mitsubishi CO2 lasers Check material thickness for accuracy and load material into the laser stocker De-nest parts and remove laser oxide from parts Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong laser or CNC operating background Competent in basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn precision measurement tools Demonstrated competency in basic shop math Ability to understand and apply knowledge of G and M codes with applicable computer skills Please send your resume to View email address on click.appcast.io.
