Job Title HR Business Partner Reporting To Business Partner, Strategic HR Work Schedule Onsite – Blacksburg, VA Position Overview At Moog, we believe in the power of innovation and collaboration to solve the world’s most complex engineering challenges. Key Responsibilities Develop strong relationships with leadership to provide value‑added HR support aligned with business objectives. Partner with the Strategic HRBP to manage the people agenda and deliver new and existing HR initiatives. Contribute to business strategy development and execution, bringing an HR lens to organizational decisions. Design and implement HR strategies that drive engagement, retention, and performance. Lead organizational development, design, and change management efforts. Own and drive talent management processes including succession planning, performance management, and talent pipeline development. Act as a coach and role model, promoting a culture aligned with Moog’s values and philosophy. Manage HR metrics, analytics, and reporting to support data‑driven decision‑making. Lead or participate in Group‑wide or global HR projects and initiatives. Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to continuously improve policies, processes, and programs. Represent the voice of the business within the broader HR function. Recognize and assess complex organizational issues and recommend strategic solutions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner. Demonstrated experience supporting multiple sites or business units. Proven ability to advise and influence leadership on both business and people‑related matters. Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Experience working in a matrixed environment and navigating complex organizational structures. Deep understanding of U.S. employment law and HR best practices. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline. Global HR experience, including exposure to international employment practices. People management experience, including leading HR teams or direct reports. Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments. HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, SPHR). Salary Range Transparency Blacksburg, VA $130,000.00–$160,000.00 Annually. Salary Range Disclaimer: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
