Restaurant Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianJEM Restaurant Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support our Taco Bell and Pizza Hut locations throughout the Charleston market. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working independently while being part of a team. You'll play an important role in keeping our restaurants safe, functional, and operating at their best.What You'll DoPerform preventive and routine maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems, including refrigeration, ice makers, grills, heated holding units, and moreDiagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC/R, and other facility-related issuesTroubleshoot equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic skillsComplete residential painting and other facility projects as neededMaintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and repair suppliesUtilize CMMS to document and manage maintenance activitiesTravel between restaurant locations throughout the Charleston marketWork independently while communicating effectively with restaurant leadership and the maintenance teamWhat We're Looking For1+ year of comparable maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC/R systemsHVAC/R and EPA certification strongly preferredResidential painting experience is a plusStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsKnowledge of CMMS systemsStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to take ownership of projects and work with minimal direct supervisionReliable transportation and flexibility to travel throughout the Charleston areaA Hands-On RoleRegularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbsStand, squat, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periodsSafely climb ladders to access rooftop equipmentWork in hot conditions when necessaryCompensation & SchedulePay: $30.00-$35.00 per hourJob Type: Full-TimeSchedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends/after-hours as neededBenefits & PerksVacation TimeHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)Be Part of Our TeamAt JEM Restaurant Group, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
