Job Description This role is responsible for providing comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients to help them achieve their financial goals. Key responsibilities include triaging client leads, making referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, meeting with clients to review financial and investment goals, building a financial plan, and recommending brokerage products. The role requires completion and ongoing use of required licenses and trainings, and is subject to the SAFE Act registration requirements. Responsibilities Work with clients to plan short‑ and long‑term financial goals by building a financial plan that includes brokerage products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions. Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client goals and needs. Triage client requests and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds. Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities. Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele. Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services. Required Qualifications Currently holds Series 7 & 66 licenses (or holds 63 or 65 in lieu of 66). If you do not hold the 66 but have either a 63 or 65, a passing score for the missing series within 60 days is required. At least one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and in‑depth knowledge of investment products and services. At least one year of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Sets and accomplishes goals and achieves results. Builds and nurtures strong relationships. Collaborates effectively with others to get things done. Communicates effectively and confidently and is comfortable engaging all clients. Manages goals, navigates complexity, prioritizes tasks and executes in a fast‑paced environment. Is proactive in learning, adapts to new information and seeks the right solutions for clients. Manages time and capacity efficiently. Incorporates regulatory due diligence into daily activities and long‑term strategies for clients. Desired Qualifications Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment. At least three years of experience in the financial service industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded. Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). Insurance licenses. Minimum Education Requirement High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent. This position is open for the entire market; the specific financial center location will be based on business needs. If offered a position, you will train at one financial center and then potentially begin your role in a phone‑based capacity until another financial center location has been determined that is within a reasonable commuting distance of your home, to the extent permitted by applicable law. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bank of America
