Position Overview The Training Readiness Program Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of training readiness and deployment certification activities for Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) units. Working alongside Government personnel and the Program Manager, this position helps ensure unit training, certifications, and readiness requirements are accurately tracked, analyzed, and reported to support operational decision-making. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining training readiness across the Force Generation enterprise while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational reporting. Primary Responsibilities Support day-to-day training readiness and force generation activities. Monitor unit training completion, certification milestones, and readiness requirements. Collect, validate, and analyze readiness data from multiple organizations. Prepare reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and executive briefing materials. Assist Government personnel with readiness assessments and deployment preparation. Maintain training records and readiness documentation in accordance with Government procedures. Coordinate with subordinate commands to resolve training discrepancies and support certification timelines. Participate in planning meetings, readiness reviews, and working groups. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve training effectiveness. Support process improvement initiatives and operational reporting requirements. Assist with preparation of Monthly Status Reports, Quarterly Reviews, and other contract deliverables. Required Qualifications Applicants should demonstrate experience that aligns with the Government's requirements, including: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of eight (8) years of military, Government, or contractor experience supporting military training, readiness management, operations, or force generation. Operational, training, and readiness experience with a warfare qualification, preferably within expeditionary/MESF communities. Minimum of three (3) years of experience with the Readiness and Cost Reporting System (RCRP)/ERAS. Proficiency in Advanced Skills Management (ASM). Experience supporting command-level training management or readiness reporting. Strong analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Ability to work independently while supporting a multidisciplinary team. Active SECRET security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting: Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) Maritime Expeditionary Security Group (MESG) Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) Fleet readiness organizations Training management systems such as ERAS, DRRS-N, FLTMPS, TORIS, or TFOM Readiness reporting and deployment certification programs Operational planning or training management Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools supporting reporting, workflow automation, data analysis, or productivity improvements Travel Periodic travel is required to support readiness reviews, planning conferences, training events, and Government meetings at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
