The organization operates sophisticated food production facilities with a strong focus on food safety, quality assurance, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance . The company maintains rigorous quality standards throughout the production process and works closely with production, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure that products consistently meet safety, quality, and customer expectations. Position Overview The Quality Control Technician II will support the Quality Assurance team by conducting inspections, monitoring food safety and GMP compliance, collecting samples, documenting quality findings, and assisting with investigations and corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant, food manufacturing, food processing, sanitation, or quality-focused environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production facility. Key Responsibilities Conduct and document quality control inspections throughout the production process. Monitor employee personal hygiene and compliance with GMP and food safety standards. Collect samples for laboratory and sensory testing. Perform and document equipment calibration activities. Identify and investigate product or process non-conformities. Coordinate with regulatory and USDA inspection personnel as required. Assist with training production and QA employees on quality and food safety procedures. Support technical projects, special inspections, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate quality records and documentation. Communicate quality concerns and findings to appropriate production and QA personnel. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant, food industry, food manufacturing, food processing, or sanitation environment. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food production environment . Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings. Preferred Qualifications Experience with HACCP, GMP, food safety, or quality control programs. Experience in a food manufacturing or processing facility. Experience with quality inspections, sampling, testing, or equipment calibration. Experience working with USDA or other food safety regulatory inspectors. Sous vide food production experience is a plus. Work Environment This is an onsite, full-time position within a food manufacturing/production facility.
