Mobile Automotive Technician

Elitek Vehicle Services, an LKQ company, is seeking automotive technicians to perform mechanical and electrical repairs using advanced diagnostic technologies. Salary: $60,000 - $92,000 based on experience. Essential Job Duties Assist service managers and estimators with documentation for mechanical or electronic repair services. Conduct training and test trainees. Work with managers to determine needed training on hardware, software tools, or workflow. Perform bumper-to-bumper mechanical and electrical repairs. Develop relationships with new customers and provide high-level service to existing customers to maintain relationships. Assume other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma and relevant certification. 5+ years of automotive repair experience. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Must qualify for corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance. Must pass a pre-employment drug screening. Must be at least 21 years of age. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop relationships with new customers to increase market share. Proficient use of various automotive service and diagnostic equipment. Strong work ethic and healthy habits. Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail. Essential Physical Demands / Work Environment Occasionally lift up to 75pounds. Work in a shop environment involving heat and loud noise. Sit for extended periods while driving. Occasional exposure to extreme cold and/or heat. Tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional climate driving conditions. May involve operating a motor vehicle for work-related duties.
