Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, wood therapy, lymphatic, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals. Educate clients on massage benefits, post‑treatment care, and self‑care strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of each session, including techniques used and client feedback, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference. Communicate effectively with clients to tailor treatments based on their preferences and physiological responses. Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene standards, and current CPR certification. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care plans. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong background in Swedish massage, wood therapy, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and prenatal massage. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately assess patient needs and adapt treatments accordingly. Prior experience in medical spa or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with clients about treatment options and health concerns. Experience managing pain relief or pain management programs through various massage modalities. Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist in accordance with state licensing requirements; CPR certification is mandatory.
