Area Supervisor

Adecco is Hiring: Distribution Center Supervisor Adecco is seeking an experienced and motivated DC Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving productivity, ensuring safety and operational excellence, maintaining inventory accuracy, and developing high-performing teams. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong warehouse operations experience, a commitment to associate development, and a passion for continuous improvement. We are currently seeking reliable and motivated candidates to join our team on both 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift . Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, shipping, and inventory control. Assign labor and manage workflows to meet daily production and service goals. Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of customer orders. Team Supervision & Development Lead, coach, motivate, and develop warehouse associates. Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate operational priorities. Assign tasks and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable work environment. Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety programs. Conduct safety observations and audits to identify and eliminate workplace hazards. Promote proper equipment usage and safe work practices. Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures. Qualifications Required Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and safety standards. Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume operation. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience managing performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. Why Join Adecco?
