Data Analyst-Hybrid position in Los Angeles, California

• Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 10 years of experience required with data and metrics analysis.
  2. Minimum of five years experience working in analytics with hospitals and health plans.
  3. Advanced proficiency required with VBA, SQL, Salesforce, Excel and Access.
  4. High-level skills using web applications and all browsers; ability to teach others how to use web-based database functions.
  5. Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office computer applications, including Word, Access, Outlook and SharePoint. Advanced knowledge of Excel required.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and ability to work independently given standard guidelines and checklists.
  7. Good writing and communication skills. Able to draft grammatically correct and professional email messages.
  8. Demonstrated experience in working successfully with minimal supervision.
  9. Must have knowledge of medical and health care terminology.
  10. Ability to complete HIPAA training and implement high-level protections on patient information and confidentiality.
  11. Must work effectively independently and in a team setting.
  12. Ability to relate well with internal and external customers.
  Quality/Metrics:
  1. Gather and perform analysis on data from Salesforce, Loopback, Excel, and other databases as required.
  2. Perform data cleaning as needed to ensure data are consistent and analyzable.
  3. Create data reports, charts, graphs and tables for regular reporting to program leads and external partners.
  4. Export data from software systems and program tracking logs for agency reporting.
  5. Assemble reports, papers and presentation materials as directed.
  6. Collect data through phone and in-person interviews.
  7. Record or transcribe data in accordance with project and funding source guidelines.
  8. Perform literature reviews (locating, listing &/or abstracting articles).
  Enter literature references into shared database (such as EndNote)
  Responsibilities:
  1. Data cleaning, formatting, and maintenance as needed.
  2. Data visualization and analysis of program metrics.
  3. Data Entry for the program(s) assigned.
  4. Program reporting/billing/invoicing support.
  5. Administrative duties as needed (Mailing and other assigned work)
  6. Establish and maintain systems for program accountability - reports track performance.
  7. Attend and ensure follow up after all meetings and presentations - minutes, reports, action plans, assignments, and etc.
  8. Monitors performance, responsibilities of field staff with respect to database management, metrics, and documents.
  9. Reports all errors in systems, workflows, and both internal and external individuals.
  10. Completes reporting (both internal and contractual requirements) with thorough knowledge and understanding of what is being reported.
  11. Develops and maintains a current understanding of the Department's Contractual Agreements.
  12. Must have professional verbal and written skills, computer/software skills.
  13. Assists with both internal and external customer service calls, emails, and requests.
