Position Description

Join a diversely skilled team in a dynamic healthcare environment that provides support across two hospital campuses. Candidates will have the opportunity to float between facilities to deliver exceptional care to adult health patients.

Facilities Overview

Campus 1: Located in Tucson, AZ, this campus features over 600 beds and is designated as a Level I Trauma center. It comprises approximately 16 adult health units treating patients from observation to intermediate care.
Campus 2: Situated 10 minutes away in South Tucson, AZ, this campus has around 200 beds and operates as a Level III Trauma center, with 4-5 adult health units depending on the season.

Roles and Responsibilities

As part of the Resource Float Pool, your responsibilities may include:

Providing support across various adult health units as needed.
Floating to expanded areas such as Emergency Departments or Post Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) for adult health patients with inpatient orders awaiting unit beds.
Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care during your assignment.

Qualifications

Previous travel nursing experience is required.
Flexibility to float to different units based on the needs of the facility.

Working Hours

This position offers a second 12-hour shift schedule, providing an opportunity for a balance between work and personal life.

Location

This role involves floating between two campuses located in Tucson, AZ.
