The Senior Logistics Analyst, under the direction of the local center Logistics Manager, will assist in overseeing and supporting the local center NASA End‑user Services & Technologies (NEST) logistics team in support of the overall NEST Enterprise Logistics management plan and direction. In this position the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate management of IT equipment and approved Enterprise initiatives that directly support logistical warehouse operations within the NEST program. This includes laptops, desktops, peripherals, and all other IT equipment that is orderable on the approved NASA catalog. The role requires the ability to unpack, pick up, and carry packages and materials up to 40 lbs. The candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and effective communication skills. A philosophy of continuous improvement and adherence to standardized work processes is essential. Comfort in developing training or process documents and training staff is needed. Primary Responsibilities Review and ensure inventory accuracy daily. Ensure timely and accurate transactional updates in Costpoint and reconcile inventory variances. Maintain accurate updates in Costpoint and ServiceNow within prescribed timeframes. Collaborate with the local center Logistics Manager, Enterprise Logistics Manager, or designated program manager to maintain and report proper stock levels. Ensure compliance with prescribed contract Service Level Agreements (SLA). Monitor material distribution and stock levels to ensure safe and efficient flow of devices, orders, and peripheral assets. Support Enterprise initiatives and ensure execution at the local center. Build, coach, mentor, and observe performance of the Logistics Team under the direction of the Logistics Manager. Update ServiceNow tasks to ensure SLA compliance. Oversee and maintain preparation or delegation of package shipments via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other carriers. Maintain quality control of documentation, packing slips, invoices, material costs, and transactions. Assist with turn‑in, repair, and relocation of equipment. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work requirements. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead high‑performing teams. Experience with Costpoint or other ERP Logistics/Inventory management software. Strong attention to detail. Self‑motivation. Ability to work efficiently with accuracy and meet demanding timelines. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 lbs. Current driver’s license. US Citizen. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow experience. Location This is an onsite role in Houston, Texas. Salary The program budget for this role is expected to fall between approximately high \$70,000 to low/mid \$80,000, with slight wiggle room based on relevant experience and assessment.
