Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Days - Colorado

Schedule

This is a day shift position from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works with patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, performing a wide range of cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and delivering various modalities of respiratory care, from basic to advanced. The RRT is responsible for providing the highest level of patient care across all hospital areas, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics and advanced respiratory care procedures.
• Provide care for patients in emergency situations, as well as inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in Colorado or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population.
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and neonates preferred.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
