Packaging Specialist – West Valley, UT

Position Summary: The Packaging Specialist is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and accurately completing production documentation in compliance with GMP and FDA standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor packaging equipment (bottling machines, cappers, labelers, sealers, cartoners, etc.).
• Inspect packaging components for defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, equipment, and packaging areas.
• Complete production paperwork and logs accurately in real time.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Follow safety protocols, GMPs, and FDA compliance standards.
• Prepare the packaging line for the next shift, ensuring no excess product or trash remains.

Requirements:

• Able to operate packaging equipment and follow SOPs.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety practices.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with GMPs and FDA regulations is preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
