Field Service Engineer provides remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems -PHARMA. Medical or electromechanical device repair experience required.

\n

This role is responsible for solving, repairing, and maintaining proprietary hardware and software systems while ensuring regulatory compliance, service quality, and strong customer relationships.

\n

Responsibilities of a Field Service Engineer :

\n

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

\n

\n
• Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems, including support for DHA and DoD facilities.
\n
• Respond to, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve work orders within service-level expectations.
\n
• Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components with full case ownership.
\n
• Independently tackle sophisticated issues and raise to Senior or Lead FSEs as needed.
\n
• Support government accounts requiring eligibility for CAC (Common Access Card).
\n

Required Experience & Qualifications:

\n

\n
• 1–3 years of combined hardware, software, and IT support experience with both proprietary and standard applications .
\n
• May be required to meet eligibility requirements for access to Local, State, and/or Federal facilities, which may include completion of background investigations and acquiring required identification credentials or security badges
\n
• Strong solving, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Excellent communication, customer service, and documentation abilities.
\n
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple priorities, and travel as required.
\n

Skills & Experience:

\n
• Remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems .
\n
• Work-order evaluation, prioritization, and resolution.
\n
• Diagnosis and repair of hardware/software components.
\n
• Preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and calibrations.
\n
• Inventory management and consistency to company policy.
\n
• Professional customer communication and relationship development.
\n
• Accurate service documentation including expenses and time tracking.
\n
• Compliance with MDR and service procedures.
\n
• Independent and team-based work performance.
\n

\n

Additional Qualifications & Requirements:

\n

Associate degree in a related field or 3+ years of Field Service or Technical Support experience.

\n

\n
• 24×7 on-call service experience preferred.
\n
• Medical or electromechanical device repair experience required.
\n
• CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent preferred.
\n
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble/reassemble complex systems.
\n
• Proficiency with Windows OS, networking, and diagnostic instruments.
\n
• Ability to operate powered and manual hand tools.
\n
• Valid driver’s license, active for min. last, most recent 3 years and a clear motor vehicle record. Daily car travel required, with occasional air travel and overnights.
