Senior Cost Analyst

North Carolina | 5 Days On-Site | Open to relocators The role: You will be the "go-to" person at the facility for any financial information or analysis. Monitor inventory batches and resolve any variances as they progress through the facility. Assist in the annual planning process for variable and fixed costs, and the department expense budgets. Assist with month-end closing activities Site lead for annual physical inventory count and provide support for cycle count program Work with the plant finance team to understand cost variances and work toward driving total cost down. Generate monthly financial reporting and analytics to be reviewed with operations What you need: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of accounting/cost experience in a manufacturing setting with previous experience with inventory transactions Accounting experience for a multi-location, midsize to large company ERP experience in a manufacturing setting (Oracle experience a plus) SQL experience (preferred) Ability to explain finance/accounting concepts in layman terms to non-financial managers Ability to embrace and drive change Role will be based in North Carolina (Monroe), and 5 days on-site.
