Position InformationHiring Manager:DirectorDepartment:Technology SolutionsDepartment OverviewThe Technology Solutions (“TS”) Department is responsible for designing and delivering state of the art technology solutions that are designed to create efficiency, mitigate risk and grow revenue for the Firm. Technology Solutions is also responsible for defining, managing and executing a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework. Technology Solutions focuses on technical excellence through innovative application designs, robust data integration and analytics, high availability infrastructure and gold level service for our key stakeholders with information security embedded throughout. Critical functions within Technology Solutions include Project Management, Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Data Governance and Stewardship, Application Development and 3rd Party Integration, Strategic and Secure Infrastructure and Operations. The Technology Solutions Department collaborates closely with Firm leadership and business unit heads to develop plans in line with business objectives.Position Responsibilities The TS Department is looking for an experienced individual with program management, project management, analysis and client relationship management skills to join the Finance and Governance Team and help support key initiatives. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, an inquisitive nature, a passion for excellent service, the ability to self-start and be resourceful and a strong understanding of technology, portfolio and financial management. This role requires a great deal of communication with employees at all levels, so exceptional verbal and written communication and influencing skills are essential.Responsibilities include:Project Leadership and GovernanceOwning the full lifecycle management of the program within Technology Solutions, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring and closureEstablishing and maintaining the program governance structure (steering committees, working groups, RACI tables, decision logs)Ensuring alignment with organizational goals, TS standards and enterprise architecturePlanning, Scheduling and Resource ManagementDeveloping and maintaining the integrated project plan, including scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies and critical pathIdentifying and coordinating required resources across business units, TS and vendorsManaging workstreams across configuration, integrations, data migration, testing, change management, training and deploymentVendor and Stakeholder ManagementServing as the primary liaison with the 3rd‑party vendor, managing deliverables, SLAs, risks and change requestsFacilitating communication between the vendor and internal technical teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and metBuilding strong relationships with business partners, executives, SMEs and technical teams to ensure shared understanding and alignmentProject Lifecycle ManagementWorking with functional and technical SMEs to define future-state architecture and integration needsEnsuring all integration points (APIs, middleware, authentication, data flows) are documented, validated and approvedSupporting gap analyses between legacy functionality and the new solutionOverseeing planning and execution of system testing, integration testing, UAT and performance testingTracking defects, ensuring timely remediation and coordinating re-testing cycles Validating readiness criteria before go‑liveLeading development of cutover strategy, runbooks and contingency plans Coordinating data migration activities (mapping, validation and reconciliation) Ensuring controlled decommissioning of legacy systems, including data retention, archival and dependency removalManaging post-implementation support and issue triageEnsuring operational handoff to support and maintenance teams Conducting lessons‑learned sessions and creating a project close‑out reportRisk, Issue & Change ControlIdentifying risks early and maintain a proactive mitigation strategyFacilitating issue resolution, escalation management and decision trackingMaintaining change control processes for scope, schedule and budget adjustmentsCommunication & ReportingCreating and owning the communication plan (executive updates, team status, milestones and roadmap visuals)Delivering concise, transparent updates to senior leadership and stakeholdersEnsuring all project documentation is organized, current and accessibleCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field is required10 – 15 years of experience in a similar roleSubject matter expert in Microsoft ProjectHigh level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio)Self-motivated, team oriented, flexible and able to multi-taskProactive self-starter with a positive can-do and ‘no job too small’ attitudeDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skillsResults oriented with a high level of personal and team accountabilityEnthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work cultureCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards define key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. Researches and identifies new vendors as needed and monitors performance.Relationship Management: Builds and maintains effective partnerships with internal clients and end users by advising on their needs and options, advocating for their business within the Technology Solutions department and managing expectations appropriately.Project / Program Management: Manages Technology Solutions project elements considering conflicting priorities, interdependencies, business objectives, communications and available resources.Innovative Mindset: Leverages an agile and creative mindset to drive innovative value creation, continuous process improvement and proactive learning through new technology, processes and people.Compensation and BenefitsFor Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $180,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
